Here’s the latest celebrity gossip and entertainment news from the world of stage, screen and television.
Tammy Hembrow has broken down in a YouTube video that explains her “embarrassing” collapse at Kylie Jenner’s 21st Birthday last month.
The Gold Coast Instagram sensation was papped being wheeled out of the starlet’s birthday last month by paramedics in West Hollywood.
Whilst rumours have been circulating fast about what caused the 24-year-old to collapse, Hembrow set the record straight in a video titled “Update: Back home”.
“I’ve had a lot of concerned followers messaging me and asking if I’m just alright. So, I just want to clear that up and say yes, I’m okay,’” she explained.
Blaming exhaustion after “not sleeping” for 30 hours due to the lengthy commute from the Gold Coast and Los Angeles, the model went on to say she was falling asleep during hair and makeup and shouldn’t have mixed her tiredness with alcohol that night.
Hembrow also confessed that she hasn’t been making much time for herself after her split with former boyfriend and father to her children, Reece Hawkins.
“I’ve been throwing myself into work way more than ever, and also, I have my kids the majority of the time,” she said. “[It’s] literally been like a non-stop, on-the-go kind of thing.”
Bursting into tears towards the end of the video, Hembrow thanked her “true followers” for supporting her during this difficult time.
The video comes after gossip Instagram pages and Facebook posts accused Hembrow of being “coked out” [under the influence of cocaine] at both Jenner’s birthday and recent music festival, Splendour in the Grass.
Good news, cartoon nerds! Almost ten years after their first movie, The Simpsons will be back on the big screen.
The 2007 film earned $527.1 million USD (725.1 million AUD) in the box office, and is set to delight audiences with a sequel – however, it’s not known whether it will continue with the same storyline or not.
The announcement came after Wall Street Journal reported on what will happen to Fox’s movie arm, 20th Century Fox after being purchased by Disney in a $71 billion merger.
Also in the works by Fox is a Bob’s Burgers movie and a Family Guy movie, which will see series creator Seth MacFarlane returning to voice Stewie, Peter and Brian.
Speculation is also high that Alex Borstein (Lois), Mila Kunis (Meg), Seth Green (Chris), Mike Henry (Cleveland) and Patrick Warburton (Joe) would all also feature in the cartoon’s first ever movie.
Everybody always comments that Reese Witherspoon’s daughter, Ava Phillipe is the mirror image of her.
However, the starlet has another doppleganger – that isn’t blood related!
Marilee Lessley has worked with Witherspoon on five movies now and has joined forces with her on hit tv series, Big Little Lies (BLL) as her character Madeleine Mackenzie’s double.
Marilee isn’t the only new face in town on the set of BLL. Hollywood veteran and all-round legend Meryl Streep has joined the cast to play Mary Louise Wright, the mother of Celeste Wright’s (Nicole Kidman) late husband, Perry (Alexander Skarsgård). There’s not too much we know about Streep’s addition to the show, except for the fact that Madeleine gets to throw an icecream cone at her. Witherspoon described the cone throwing as a career highlight, telling E! News: “I have to say it was like top five moments of my career.”We can’t wait for Season 2 of BLL!
