The Invictus Games is an international adaptive sporting event for serving and former serving military personnel. The Games use the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and generate a wider understanding and respect for wounded, injured and ill servicemen and women. How can you watch? The ABC will be the official host broadcaster, so tune in from Saturday, October 20.

From the old memoirs that spun through their bloodlines; this newly opened restaurant presents to you fragments of Indian flavours, wrapped in a place called “Memories of India”. Located in the old Ulster Hotel, expect authentic Indian food with tap beers, cocktails, and much more.

3. Explore: Jacaranda Festival

The Goodna Jacaranda Festival is one of South East Queensland’s favourite community festivals, bringing people from across the region to three days of non stop, free entertainment. This year, from the 26th of October to the 28th of October, thrill seekers can enjoy sideshow alley, while chill seekers enjoy all the free music and entertainment they could want.
